Happy New Year everyone.
Wow I can hardly believe it but time really doesnt wait for anyone.

2012 for me is an extension of what I started in 2011. I made changes to better myself. I had a goal and I stuck to it and achieved it. My word for last year was 'Perspective'.
I wanted to remember why I was doing the things I was doing and make sure that they added value to me and my goals. I had to keep true to that and I can say that 2012 ended mostly where I wanted it.
My word for this year is 'Focussed'.
I want to stay focussed on the next goal. I wont let anyone's opinions or views shake that. I am doing this for me....not everyone else. I will stay focussed on the goals for this year and I WILL succeed.
SO BRING IT ON! I am excited/scared/nervous/confident but what I know is that I will look back a year from now and know I achieved it.
If I can have one wish for the new year it is that each and every one of you achieve your goals and dreams for the year!

January 1 bring s new beginning. A new venture called 'Daring You to Scrap'
This is a fabulous way of joining in and using your stash in other ways. Daring yourself to scrap outside your box so to speak and maybe get some goodies for your troubles. No pressure no stress just good ole fashioned fun! I sure hope you will join me and the rest of the DYTS team as we journey through some awesome dares for 2012.

My background was created by using papers scraps that had been cut into 2" squares and distressing the edges. Such a fun effective way of using up stash scraps. Of course you will only ever see chipboard by The Dusty Attic on my pages and so on this page I have used:

Favourite new storage for 2012!!!

Tim Holtz I love the! Thanks to Tomorrow's Memories I have eliminated a couple of 'everything' jars and now has this sassy little box....oh how I love it.

Think this is about it for me for the first day of 2012. The year will see my kids gets older, my baby go to Pre Primary, my visit to Melbourne with my BFF, and much much more. I will become the owner of a fab new body and a new bikini (first time in 20 odd years), maybe a visit home to NZ and much much more. But above all I will have my wonderful husband by my side. Much to be thankful for.

Belated Merry Xmas

Well for 2011 it is nearly all over. Our Xmas was nice. Family food and laughter. The usual I guess.

Now post Xmas we have been hanging out, swimming, and enjoying each-others company. Next Tuesday will come soon enough when hubby has to return to work.

I hope you have all hard a wonderful Xmas and wish you all the best for the new year. Take care and enjoy your family.

Its Evolution

So having a new blog is AWESOME however it means hours of time spent on the computer....jigging this and tweaking that. I am still learning but having fun playing.
